Asteroid 2015 TB145 will pass about 300,000 miles (485,000 km) from Earth on Halloween, or roughly 1.3 times the distance to the Moon. The Arecibo radio telescope obtained this view of the asteroid on October 30. From this viewing angle, the asteroid's features give it the appearance of a human skull. The asteroid is about 2,000 feet in diameter, which is large enough to create significant damage if it were to hit Earth. [NAIC-Arecibo-NSF]
