Cracked Moon [1]

Giant cracks mark the surface of Titania, the largest moon of the planet Uranus, in this image from the Voyager 2 spacecraft. The cracks suggest that Titania has been "shrink wrapped." As its interior cooled and contracted, its crust shrank around it, cracking the surface. [NASA/JPL]
