The Osiris-Rex spacecraft is scheduled to drop a capsule containing samples from the surface of the asteroid Bennu into Earth's atmosphere on Sunday. It will parachute to a landing in Utah. This sequence shows the spacecraft touching the asteroid's surface and firing a jet of gas, stirring up rocks and pebbles. The craft grabbed some of the debris and stored it in the capsule for return to Earth. The capsule could contain up to 4.4 pounds (2 kg) of material. [NASA/GSFC/University of Arizona]
