First Visit

Space shuttle Atlantis approaches Russia's Mir space station during the first shuttle-Mir docking mission, in June 1995. Atlantis dropped off two cosmonauts and returned two cosmonauts and one American astronaut from the space station. It was the first of nine shuttle-Mir docking missions. [NASA]
