A recent image from James Webb Space Telescope shows giant plumes and water and ice erupting from the south pole of Enceladus, one of the moons of Saturn. The plumes were discovered by Cassini, which flew past the small moon several times (inset). JWST observations showed that the eruptions continue, with even more water than seen by Cassini.
